6.1 B <br /> Page 79 <br /> Attachment 3 <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY—EMERGENCY MATERIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of , 2010, by and <br /> between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> California ("City") and SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY — EMERGENCY MATERIAL <br /> ASSISTANCE PROGRAM a Calif r ' " ' • <br /> , o nia nonprofit organizat�on ( Contractor'), <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides for the needs of Redwood City residents recently released from <br /> San Mateo County jails, their immediate families, and the families of those who are in custody who reside <br /> in Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested �nancial assistance in order to conduct the program for <br /> residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1,2010, and ending June 30, 2011; and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> Twelve Thausand and No/100 Dollars($12,000.00}; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Twelve Thousand <br /> and No/100 Dollars ($12,000.00} for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July <br /> 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2019,solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 solely <br /> for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives} attached hereto and by this <br /> reference incorporated herein. <br /> 3. CHANGES TO PROGRAM. No changes in the Program described in this agreement which <br /> are funded by the financial assistance provided under paragraph 1 shall be made withou#the prior written <br /> consent of City. <br />
