ORIGINAL AGREEMENT CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE DISABLED (Housing Accessibility Modification) THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this S day of , 1_4,1 0 , 2010, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ( "City ") and Center for Independence of the Disabled, a California nonprofit organization ( "Contractor "; collectively the "Parties "). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, Contractor desires to renovate /improve certain facilities and provide services to individuals who are residents of the City (the "Project "); and WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to finance, in whole or in part, the Project that will benefit residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011 (the "Fiscal Year "); and WHEREAS, City has reviewed Contractor's request and the Project and desires to allocate a certain sum of money from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the Project. NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of Thirty Thousand and No /100 Dollars ($30,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011, solely for the ur oses described in Paragraph p h 2. P g p 2. USE OF FUNDS; ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to Paragraph 1 solely for the Project purposes described in Exhibit A ( "Programs "), Exhibit B ( "Quantitative Goals "), and Exhibit C (environmental Review) attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
