This increase could require additional staffing or expanded facilities <br />over time to meet the increased demands. However, the New General <br />Plan does not identify or directly permit any new fire protection or <br />emergency facilities the construction of which could result in <br />environmental impacts, and any such future facilities would be subject to <br />environmental review pursuant to CEQA requirements. Therefore, this <br />impact is expected to be less than significant. <br />• Impact 4.12 -2: The New General Plan allows for development that could <br />increase the demand for police services in the plan area. This increase <br />could require additional staffing or expanded facilities over time to meet <br />the increased demands. However, the New General Plan does not identify <br />or directly permit any new police services facilities the construction of <br />which could result in environmental impacts, and any such future facilities <br />would be subject to environmental review pursuant to CEQA <br />requirements. This increase could <br />require additional staffing or expanded facilities over time to meet the <br />increased demands.
