REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City <br />From the City I <br />April 14, 2003 <br />Subject <br />Agreement with the San Mateo County Health Services Administration for Participation <br />in Healthy Kids Enrollment Campaign <br />Recommendation <br />Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Agreement between the City of Redwood <br />City /Redwood City 2020 (RC 2020) and the San Mateo County Health Services <br />Administration for participation in Healthy Kids Enrollment Campaign <br />Background <br />The City of Redwood City in partnership with the Redwood City School District, the <br />Sequoia Union High School District and the County of San Mateo formed Redwood City <br />2020 in 1995. The partners have been jointly funding RC 2020 since 1995 and the City <br />of Redwood City acts as the collaborative fiscal agent. <br />In the fall of 2002, Redwood City 2020 applied for and was awarded funding from the <br />San Mateo County Health Administration to participate in the Healthy Kids Enrollment <br />Camoaian. All children who reside in San Mateo Countv between the aces of 0 -19 <br />without health coverage are now eligible for full scope <br />from this grant, Redwood City 2020 and their partners <br />Redwood City and North Fair Oaks in health insurance. <br />a Certified Application Assistor and hosting enrc <br />community.
