Any individual desiring <br />review of those documents must make a specified <br />request to the clerk of the court, who in turn must <br />eliminate all personal identifying information from <br />the documents prior to release. SB 58 is designed <br />to safeguard the privacy of personal information <br />about victims and witnesses named in police <br />reports that are filed with the courts. Additionally, SB 930 would be <br />the vehicle for allocating funds from the Indian <br />Gaming Special Distribution Fund. Local Emergency Tele- <br />phone Systems: 911 Administrative Board. W <br />1111 creates in state government a "911" Adminis- <br />trative Board appointed by the Governor, com- <br />prised of law enforcement officials, fire safety <br />personnel, and emergency communication profes- <br />sionals, to oversee policy and funding decisions <br />within the Telecommunications Division of the <br />Department of General Services (DGS). SS 911 is <br />intended to improve delivery of the 911 systems by <br />addressing such issues as bidding policies and <br />establishing consistent procedures regarding <br />equitable reimbursement for all participating agen- <br />cies. Indian Gaming: Special <br />HUMAN RESOURCES <br />AB 1156 (Nunez) Meyers - Milias -Brown Act: <br />local public agencies. The Meyers - Milias -Brown <br />Act (MMBA) authorizes a local public agency to <br />adopt reasonable rules and regulations after <br />consultation in good faith with representatives of an <br />employer - employee organization or organizations <br />for the administration of employer - employee rela- <br />tions under the act. <br />This bill would amend the definition of "em- <br />ployee organization" for the purposes of the act to <br />include any organization that seeks to represent <br />employees of a public agency in their relations with <br />that public agency.
