REPORT <br />April 28, 2003 <br />To the Honorable <br />Subject <br />Fiscal Year 2002/2003 Budget Reductions <br />Recommendation <br />It is recommended that the City Council introduce an ordinance adopting, by a five - <br />sevenths affirmative vote, the budget reductions that were approved by Council on March <br />10, 2003 for the fiscal year 2002/2003 totaling $1.32 million. <br />Background <br />On March 10, 2003 as a result of the general fund's deteriorating financial condition, the <br />City Council approved a reduction in the FY02 /03 budget in the amount of $1.32 million. <br />The recommendation before you this evening is to formally adopt this reduction.
