However, disbursements and other charges often do not <br />appear on our statements until a few weeks after the cost is incurred. Payment on all <br />statements is due upon receipt of the statements. We retain the right to cease <br />performing legal services and to terminate our representation of you for any reason <br />consistent with ethical rules, including conflicts of interest or delinquency or <br />nonpayment of legal fees and expenses. <br />You shall have the right at any time to terminate our services upon written notice to us; <br />however, such termination shall not relieve you of the obligation to pay the fees due <br />for services rendered and disbursements incurred prior to such termination, plus the <br />service charges described above. Immediately upon receipt of such notice, we will <br />cease to render additional services to you, and shall cooperate with you in facilitating <br />the orderly transfer of your files and records to you or to your new attorneys. <br />Please sign and date both of the enclosed originals of this letter and return one of the <br />originals to me to acknowledge receipt and acceptance of the terms of your <br />representation as reflected in this letter and the enclosed statement of billing practices <br />and procedures.
