The amendment modifies the City's drought action plan, the <br />conservation program and conforms the Plan to various other changes in State of California laws. <br />The State of California's Urban Water Management Planning Act requires every urban water <br />supplier providing water for municipal purposes to more than 3,000 customers, or supplying more <br />than 3,000 acre feet of water annually, to prepare and adopt an Urban Water Management Plan. <br />The amended plan prepared by the Public Works Services Department of the City of Redwood City <br />will be available April 28 for review: <br />• On the City's Internet Web site, htto://www.redwoodcity.or_q/conservation/index.htmi <br />• At the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road <br />• At the Redwood City's Main Library, 1044 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California <br />• Or by calling the Public Works Services Department at (650) 780 -7464 <br />All written comments on the draft Plan should be returned to the Public Works Services <br />Department by Noon, May 12, 2003. Alternatively, verbal comments may be given at the public <br />hearing, which will be held on May 12, 2003, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the <br />matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, <br />California, at which time and place all interested persons shall have the opportunity to present their <br />concerns to the City Council. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to call or e-mail me at the address below. <br />Sincerely, <br />Pete C.
