(0.-1 <br />Memo <br />Date: May 13, 2003 <br />To: City Council / <br />From: Susan Moeller, Redevelopment Manager If <br />Subject: Joint Study Session to Review Concept Plans for Retail /Cinema <br />Project <br />The third joint study session to review concept plans for the Retail /Cinema <br />Project is scheduled for May 19, 2003. <br />Revised plans for both the building and streetscape designs will be presented by <br />Michael Freedman, urban design consultant to the City, and Yann Taylor from <br />the firm of Field Paoli, architects for the project. The presentations will focus on <br />responses to input received in the two previous joint study sessions held March <br />3 rd and March 27 th . <br />A booklet summarizing the revisions to the plans previously reviewed, the design <br />issues that needed to be resolved (i.e., building massing, style, articulation and <br />materials), as well as some proposed design motifs for signage and other <br />building detail has been prepared and is enclosed for your review prior to the <br />meeting. <br />Should you have any questions prior to the meeting, please contact me at 780- <br />7204. <br />SM:js <br />c: Planning Commission <br />Architectural Review Committee <br />
