3. PROPOSED WORK PLAN <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br /> Wate~orks Industries Inc. Shall perform the following services pursuant to the draft <br /> Lagoo~ Management Plan amended June 1998 and at the dire~ion of the public Works <br /> Services Department authorized representative. <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />A) CONSULTING <br /> <br /> Waterworks Industries staff shall provide all professional sexvices necessary to <br /> represent the City of Redwood City to The Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Depamuem of Food and Agriculture a~ any other agency having <br /> authority over the mansgement of the lagoon. <br /> <br />B) WATER QU,ALITY MONITORING <br /> <br /> These surveys are critical to the proactive nature of the lagoon management plan. <br /> Each Tuesday Wat~x~orkg ~taff~ coRtagt ]k~dwood Cities designated <br /> re~onsible staff member to let them know that we have started the lagoon <br /> <br /> Main Lagoon, then Boardwalks Lagoon, then the Rockport, Radio, Canvasback <br /> Lagoong and Waterside Lagoon. <br /> <br /> Waterworks staffin$ shall include: a boat with a four stroke motor, one Senior <br /> ted~'mian or Pest Contro~ Operator, an addifiomRstaffte~hnician may be <br /> included to assist in launching and retrieving the boat where no ramp exists. <br /> <br /> The storeys Mill be billed at the rate included i~ o~ Fe~ schedule. Waterworks <br /> will anticipate the needed chemicals for the applications to be made and have <br /> them with them to make proo_~2v¢ trcatmentg The time that Waterworks is <br /> makln~ chemical applications Mill not be billed at the lagoon survey rate but at <br /> the p~r ~R rate. Thi~will insure that th4~e i~no cl~uble billing for services. <br /> <br />C) REPORTING TO CITY AND REGULATORY AGENCIES <br /> <br /> At the end of each survey, W~ks Industries ~ make a verbal report to <br /> City of Kedwood Cities designated state Waterworks Industries will prepare <br /> Form A of the Lag-on Mo-ogement plan which summarizes the lagoon surveys. <br /> Additionally, if chemical applications or harvesting were needed, Form B and/or <br /> C will be fdleA out and faxed to Redwood City by the following Monday detsillng <br /> all the services performed the prior week. <br /> <br /> WATER WORKS <br /> INDUSTRIES, INC. <br /> <br /> <br />
