EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant shall perform the following supplemental scope of work tasks and provide <br />deliverables as listed below to complete the package ready to competitive bidding for <br />the construction of the Redwood City Bridges Repair Project. <br />Tasks (corresponds to tasks in Table A-1; not in numerical order): <br />1.1 Management. Consultant will provide management of the project through final <br />design and permitting. <br />5. Final PS&E Design. <br />5.2. Prepare and deliver 95% Plans for review by the City. <br />5.3. Prepare Final PS&E. Consultant will implement review comments and deliver the <br />final Plans, Specifications and Estimate. <br />7. Environmental & Permitting <br />7.1 Meetings and Coordination. Consultant will meet and coordinate with all agencies <br />that will review and approve the permit applications. <br />7.2 NEPA. Consultant will prepare and submit a Natural Environmental Study (NES) <br />with required technical studies in support of a Categorical Exclusion to the U.S. <br />Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />(RWQCB) and the Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) in <br />compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act. <br />7.3 CEQA. Consultant will obtain environmental clearance from the State of <br />California Department of Fish and Wildlife Clearinghouse. <br />7.4 Regulatory Agency Permits. <br />i. Obtain project review and approval under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act <br />from USACE, RWQCB, and BCDC. <br />ii. Obtain environmental clearance with the California Department of Fish and <br />Wildlife through the integrated Bay Area Joint Aquatic Resource Permit <br />Application (JARPA). <br />iii. Consultant will conduct field work and prepare Project Wetland Delineation to <br />comply with USACE and RWQCB requirements. <br />iv. Prepare all assessments, reports and memoranda in support of the above permit <br />submittals. <br />Payment shall be made on a time and materials basis not to exceed the amounts <br />specified for each task in Table A-1, using the hourly rates specified below.
