3. REPORTING TO CITY AND REGULATORY AGENCIES <br /> <br /> At the end of each survey, Waterworks Industries will make a verbal report to <br /> City of Redwood Cities designated staff. Waterworks Industries will prepare <br /> Form A of the Lagoon Management plan which summarizes the lagoon surveys. <br /> Additionally, if chemical applications or harvesting were needed, Form B <br /> and/or C will be filled out and faxed to Redwood City by the following Monday <br /> detailing ali the services performed the prior week. <br /> <br /> Additionally, Waterworks Industries shall submit to the Department of Food and <br /> Agriculture a required chemical use report detailing the chemicals that were <br /> used during the month. <br /> <br /> CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS <br /> <br /> 1. ALGAECIDE <br /> <br /> The lagoon management plan calls for the algaecide/bacticide EarthTec. <br /> EarthTec was approved for its low copper concentrations and bacticide <br /> properties. Waterworks Industries staffing and equipment for chemical <br /> applications include the chemical EarthTec, boat with motor, spray equipment, <br /> .one chemical applicator and one staff technician. <br /> <br />2. HERBICIDE <br /> <br /> The lagoon management plan calls for the herbicide REWARD. Reward was <br /> approved for the control of Widgeon Grass in the areas of the lagoon where the <br /> harvester is inefficient or unable to harvest the Widgeon Grass. Waterworks <br /> Industries staffing and equipment for chemical applications include the chemical <br /> Reward, boat with motor, spray equipment, one chemical applicator and one <br /> staff technician. <br /> <br /> HARVESTING <br /> <br /> Mechanical harvesting of Algae and Widgeon Grass shall be performed as a <br /> result of Lagoon surveys described above. The harvesting shall be performed <br /> when the Widgeon Grass is within one foot of the lagoon surface or sooner if it <br /> is determined that to wait would jeopardize the beneficial uses of the lagoon. <br /> Waterworks Industries staffing and equipment includes one senior technician, <br /> one staff technician, eight toot head mechanical harvester, conveyer trailer, <br /> 25,000 GVW vehicle to tow trailer, fuel. <br /> <br /> WATER WORKS <br /> INDUSTRIES, INC. <br /> <br /> <br />
