6.1 B Page 3 Attachment 1 FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAMARITAN HOUSE AND I THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY/FA1R OAKS COMMLJNITY CENTER THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, entered into this 13th day of October, 2010, by and between Samaritan House and the City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center; The following items for the State HPRP grant are amended as follows: Title Section: a) Revise the opening paragraph to read as follows: � Samaritan House and City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center agree to collaborate for the purpose of implementing the City of Redwood City HPRP (HPRP), a homeless prevention and rapid re-housing program designed to bolster housing stabilization and provide temporary financial assistance and/or services to help persons gain housing stability in the city of Redwood City. This agreement is wholly dependent on funding from the State of California Housing and Community Development (HCD) Federal Stimulus Funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Any shortfall from the State funding will result in a corollary shortfall in payment from Samaritan House to City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center. City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center �vill hereinafter be called "Contractor" for this agreement.
