l <br /> MEMORANDUM FROM THE CITY ATTORNEY CONCERNING A <br /> CLOSED SESSION BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council <br /> FROM: Pamela Thompson, City Attorney <br /> SUBJECT: Closed Session — Personnel [Gov't. Code §54957] <br /> Performance evaluation of Peter Ingram, City Manager <br /> A closed session will be held on November 8, 2010, at 6:00 P.M., for the purpose of considering <br /> the above - described matter. [Gov't. Code §54957.1] <br /> Any action taken by the City Council to appoint, employ, dismiss, accept the resignation of, <br /> change the compensation of or otherwise affect the employment status of a public employee <br /> shall be disclosed immediately following this closed session; provided, however, that the <br /> dismissal or nonrenewal of an employment contract shall be deferred until the first public <br /> meeting following the exhaustion of administrative remedies, if any.
