REG:ye:8 /2/60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3187 <br /> RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY KNOWN AS "LESLIE <br /> ANNEXATION NO. 1" FROM MENLO PARK FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT <br /> WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as "Leslie <br /> Annexation No. 1" was annexed to the City of Redwood City by Ord- <br /> inance No. 939, said annexation being effective on August 14, 1959; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, said area is included in the Menlo Park Fire Pro- <br /> tection District; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 14218 of the <br /> Health and Safety Code of the State of California, there herein- <br /> after described property known as "Leslie Annexation No. 1" is <br /> hereby declared withdrawn from the Menlo Park Fire Protection <br /> District. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of <br /> this resolution to the State Board of Equalization, the San Mateo <br /> County Assessor, the San Mateo County Clerk, and the Board of <br /> Fire Commissioners, Menlo Park Fire Protection District, Menlo <br /> Park, California. <br /> 3. The withdrawal of the following described territory from <br /> the Menlo Park Fire Protection District shall be effective on the <br /> date of adoption of this resolution. <br /> 4.
