411 411 REG:yc:8 /2/60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3186 <br /> RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY KNOWN AS "LESLIE <br /> ANNEXATION NO. 2" FROM BELMONT FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT <br /> WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as "Leslie <br /> Annexation No. 2" was annexed to the City of Redwood City by Ord- <br /> inance No. 940, said annexation being effective on August 14, 1959; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, said area is included in the Belmont Fire Protection <br /> District; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 14218 of the <br /> Health and Safety Code of the State of California, the hereinafter <br /> described property known as "Leslie Annexation No. 2" is hereby <br /> declared withdrawn from the Belmont Fire Protection District. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of <br /> this resolution to the State Board of Equalization, the San Mateo <br /> County Assessor, the San Mateo County Clerk, and the Board of <br /> Fire Commissioners, Belmont Fire Protection District, Fifth and <br /> O'Neill Streets, Belmont, California. <br /> 3. The withdrawal of the following described territory from <br /> the Belmont Fire Protection District shall be effective on the <br /> date of adoption of this resolution, <br /> 4.
