111 REG:ye:5/20/60.10 <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> AGREMWENT, made and entered into this day of <br /> • 19 0 by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> a municipal corporation of the State of California, hereinafter <br /> called "City and <br /> a nd hereinafter <br /> called "Developers"; <br /> WITNBSAIRTH: <br /> WHEREAS, Developers are engaged in developing Leto 5 through <br /> 14 of Block 6, Belle Haven Subdivision, recorded August 23, 1928 <br /> in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, in <br /> Volume 17 of Yaps, pages 17 and 18; and <br /> WHEREAS, in oonneotion with such development Developers <br /> desire to improve that portion of the twenty foot wide public alley <br /> and right of way adjacent to and abutting the above described lots; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City desires to <br /> permit the improvement of that public alley and right of way and <br /> has authorised the execution of this agreement; <br /> NOW, THERSFORE in order to insure satisfactory performance <br /> by Developers of all improvements which are the subject of thls <br /> agreement and in consideration of the permission of the City to <br /> proceed with the above mentioned improvement work, the parties <br /> hereto do agree as follows: <br /> 1, Developers agree, at their own cost and expense, to con- <br /> , struot all of the improvements, furnish all of the materials and <br /> do all the work herein, mentioned, all in accordance with and to <br /> the extent and as provided in those certain plans and specifications <br /> hereinafter referred to.
