REG:ye:5 /16/60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3088 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF NEW <br /> POLICE BOAT; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3055, adopted April 25, <br /> 1960, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a <br /> 1960 model cabin cruiser necessary for municipal purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the Chief of Police; and <br /> WHEREAS, BOATARAMA, San Carlos, California, is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> Council to award said bid to Boatarama and reject all other bids <br /> received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of BOATARAMA, for the furnishing of a 1960 model <br /> cabin cruiser to the City of Redwood City, according to specifica- <br /> tions heretofore approved by Resolution No. 3055, at the price <br /> quoted in its proposal, to -wit Three Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty <br /> Dollars (03,880), is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> 2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned police boat to the <br /> City, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are <br /> hereby rejected. <br /> .. * <br />
