<br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
<br /> AND CALLING FOR SEALED PROPOSALS
<br /> PARKING DISTRICT NO. 1
<br /> PARKING LOT NO. VI - PARCEL C.1
<br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City,
<br /> California, that
<br /> 1. Those certain plans entitled "City of Redwood City,
<br /> California, Plans for the Construction of Parking Lot VI, Unit I
<br /> and Appurtenant Work of Parking District No. 1" and those certain
<br /> specifications entitled "City of Redwood City, California,
<br /> Contract Documents and Specifications for the Construction of
<br /> Unit I, Parking Lot No. VI, Parking District No. 1 ", dated
<br /> May 1957 Revised April 1960, as prepared by the City Engineer of
<br /> said City and filed with the City Clerk this date, be, and the
<br /> same are hereby, preliminarily approved.
<br /> 2. Sealed proposals or bids will be publicly opened,
<br /> examined and declared before the City Manager in his office, City
<br /> Hall, Redwood City, California, Thursday, June 2, 1960, at the
<br /> hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. (California Daylight Saving Time), and
<br /> reported to the City Council at its meeting in the Council
<br /> Chambers in said City Hall on Monday, June 6, 1960, at the hour
<br /> of 8:00 o'clock P.N. (California Daylight Saving Time), for the
<br /> following:
<br /> Grading, earthwork and other site preparation, including
<br /> removing and disposing of trees, bushes, utility poles and exist -
<br /> ing structures; preparation of subgrade, and the construction
<br /> thereon of crusher run base pavement with asphaltic plant mix
<br /> wearing surface; Portland cement curbs, gutters, sidewalks,
<br /> valley gutters and driveways; storm drain lines with catch basins,
<br /> boxes, drain slots, manholes, flap gates, connections, culverts
<br /> and conduits; lighting system including conduit, cable, electrolier
<br /> standards, poles, luminaires and lamps; headerboards, bumpers,
<br /> meter posts and meters, wingwalls, bulkheads and miscellaneous
<br /> and auxiliary work necessary to complete same.
