r 1 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 3076 <br /> DIRECTING SALE OF IMPROVEMENT BONDS <br /> REGENT STREET EXTENSION <br /> RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That the sale of all bonds to be issued for unpaid <br /> assessments of $50.00 or over is hereby ordered. <br /> 2. That the amount of bonds to be issued is approximately <br /> $196,574.26. <br /> 3. That said bonds shall bear date of July 15, 1960 and <br /> shall be issued pursuant to the provisions of Division 7, Part <br /> 5, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, <br /> and in accordance with the provisions of Article II -A of Ordi- <br /> nance No. 333 of the City of Redwood City, and shall be paid in <br /> fifteen (15) equal annual installments represented by principal <br /> coupons payable on January 2, 1961 to January 2, 1975 inclusive. <br /> Said bonds shall be payable to bearer and shall contain a <br /> provision for a five per cent (5%) prepayment premium. <br /> 4. That said bids shall be opened, examined and publicly <br /> declared at or about 8 :00 o'clock P.M., Monday, the 6th day of <br /> June, 1960, at the regularmeeting place of the Council of Redwood <br /> City, Board of Supervisors Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, <br /> Redwood City, California. <br /> 5. The Council of Redwood City will furnish the legal <br /> opinion of Currie, Lebsack & Hannig, Redwood City, California, <br /> unqualifiedly approving the legality of said bonds and the <br /> proceedings leading up to their issuance. <br /> 6. That the clerk of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> directed to publish in the Redwood City Tribune a notice invit- <br /> ing sealed proposals for the sale of said bands in conformity <br /> with the provisions of this Resolution. <br />
