REG:yc :L /18/60 -draft R E S O L U T I O N NO. 3055 RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR POLICE BOAT, AUTH- ORIZING.THE CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR, AND TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $3,000 FROM CAPITAL PROJECT FUND, MULTILITH ACCOUNT, TO POLICE DEPARTMENT CAPITAL FUND WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain specifications for a 1960 model cabin cruiser necessary for mun- icipal purposes; and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to ad- vertise for bids for the furnishing of said boat; and WHEREAS, this Council desires to appropriate funds for the purchase of said boat; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. Those certain specifications for a 1960 model cabin cruiser, lapstrake hullsides, minimum length 23 feet, minimum beam 8 feet, 185 H.P. V -8 inboard engine, prepared by the Chief of Police and on file in the office of the Chief of Police, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to ad- vertise for bids for the furnishing of said boat, in accordance with the specifications therefor. 3. The heretofore appropriated sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) is hereby ordered transferred from the Capital Project Fund, Multilith Account, to the Police Department Capital Fund for expenditure during the fiscal year July 1, 1959 - June 30, 1960, for the purpose of acquiring the above mentioned new police boat. L.. All monies appropriated herein are in addition to all sums heretofore appropriated for expenditure during the fiscal year July 1, 1959 - June 30, 1960.
