0,--........... REG:yc :. /1B /b0 -? <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 3 <br /> RESOLUTION COMMENDING ROBERT V. SPILLERS FOR <br /> HIS TWELVE YEARS SERVICE AS A CITY COUNCILMAN <br /> WHEREAS, Robert V. Spillers is completing twelve years of <br /> active service as a Councilman of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bob Spillers has enthusiastically participated in <br /> a program for the growth and development of Redwood City, generously <br /> giving of time and effort far in excess of what was required for <br /> the job; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bob Spillers has taken an active part in bringing <br /> to this City such improvements as creek coverings, off - street <br /> parking, yacht harbor developments and the Veteran's Memorial <br /> Building project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bob Spillers' special interest in athbletics and <br /> recreation facilities for Redwood City youngsters has won him the <br /> respect of all who have come in contact with him; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That this Council takes this opportunity to commend <br /> Robert V. Spillers on his record as a Councilman of the City of <br /> Redwood City and for all the time and effort he has given for <br /> the benefit of the City. <br /> * <br />
