RJC • k : 3/2 8/6 0- 7 <br /> RE S OLUT I ON NO. 3026 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL AUDIT OF THE OFFICE OF <br /> TREASURER OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND APPRO- <br /> PRIATING THE SUM OF $500 FROM THE UNBUDGETED <br /> BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND FOR SUCH PURPOSE <br /> WHEREAS, the present incumbent of the consolidated offices <br /> of City Clerk and City Treasurer is retiring as of the 31st day <br /> of March, 1960; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that a special ex- <br /> amination and audit of the books and records of his office be <br /> made; and, <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to and reviewed <br /> by this Council for the performance of such special examination <br /> and audit by the firm of C. G. Uhlenberg & Co.; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the maximum cost of such special audit is the <br /> sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The abovementioned agreement between the City of Redwood <br /> City and C. G. Uhlenberg & Co., providing for a special examina- <br /> tion and audit of the books and records of the Treasurer of the <br /> City of Redwood City as of the 31st day of March, 1960, for a <br /> maximum sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00), a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein, is <br /> hereby approved and the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br /> execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> 2. The sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) is hereby <br /> appropriated from the unbudgeted balance of the General Fund to <br /> General Fund Miscellaneous Expense Account No. 401 -13 for the <br /> purpose of accomplishing the special examination and audit of <br /> the books and records of the Treasurer of the City of Redwood <br /> City referred to in paragraph 1 hereof. <br /> * * * <br />
