Rek :3/25/60 -7 <br /> P I T 111F--- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3023 <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING HELEN C. MOORE TO THE <br /> CONSOLIDATED OFFICES OF CITY CLERK AND CITY <br /> TREASURER <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 22 of the <br /> Charter of the City of Redwood City, Section 1 of Ordinance <br /> No. 308, adopted February 17, 1930, consolidated the offices <br /> of City Clerk and City Treasurer, and provided that the duties <br /> of the two offices shall be performed by the City Treasurer; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, the present City Treasurer, Ralph S. Dodge <br /> submitted his resignation, effective March 31, 1960; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> to appoint a new City Treasurer to perform the duties of the <br /> consolidated offices of City Clerk and City Treasurer; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> HELEN C. MOORE is hereby appointed City Treasurer and <br /> shall, pursuant to the abovementioned Section 1 of Ordinance <br /> No. 308, adopted February 17, 1930, perform the duties of the <br /> consolidated offices of City Clerk and City Treasurer from <br /> and after April 1st, 1960. <br /> * * * <br />
