REG :yc :3/16/60 -7 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 3020 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS <br /> TO RECOVER OVERPAYMENT OF FUNDS TO A FORMER CITY <br /> EMPLOYEE <br /> WHEREAS, prior to June 2., 1959, Mr. Russell Welch was an <br /> employee of the Police Department of the City of Redwood City;and <br /> WHEREAS, during a period of temporary disability occurring in <br /> 1958 Mr. Welch was entitled to, and did receive, pursuant to Sec- <br /> tion 1850 of the Labor Code, his regular salary; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Industrial Accident Commission has recently <br /> rendered its determination that no disability existed after <br /> March 31, 1958; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Welch received salary payments totaling Three <br /> Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty -Seven Dollars ($3,987) after March 31, <br /> 1958, most of which represents an overpayment; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized and instructed <br /> to initiate proceedings to recover any salary overpayments to <br /> Mr. Russell Welch and to commence any legal action necessary to <br /> affect the recovery of said overpayments. <br />
