R E S O L U T I O N N O. 3017 RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION PARK STREET IMPROVEMENTS RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public convenience and necessity require, and that it intends to order, the following work to be done and improvements to be made in and for said City, to wit: (1) The improvement of Park Street from Cypress Street to the southerly boundary of Redwood Villa Park by constructing and installing therein curbs, gutters, sidewalks, paving, driveway approaches, on both sides thereof. (2) The construction and installation of approx- imately 305 lineal feet castiron water main, together with fire hydrant and valves and appurtenances. (3) The removal of all trees, shrubbery, fences, driveways, or other obstructions in the line of the work. (4) The construction of all work and the furnish- ing of all materials necessary therefor auxiliary to any of the work provided to be done in Sections (1) to (3) inclusive hereof which may be reasonably required to carry out said work. All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at the places and in the manner, and to the lines, grades and elevations, as shown upon the plans, profiles and specifications made therefor and on file in the office of the City Engineer of Redwood City. Said contemplated work and improvements, in the opinion of the City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public benefit, and said Council does hereby make the cost and expenses of doing such work and improvement chargeable upon a District, which District said City Council declares to be the District benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the entire cost and expenses thereof, and which said Assessment District is wholly within the limits of said City of Redwood City, State of California, and is -1-
