There is excepted from said District all streets and all <br /> other public property in use in the performance of a public function. <br /> Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent the un- <br /> paid assessments of $25.00 or over, bearing interest at the rate of <br /> six per cent (6 %) per annum will be issued pursuant to the provi- <br /> sions of Article I of Ordinance No. 333 entitled "Redwood City <br /> Improvement Procedure Ordinance ", adopted March 14, 1932, as amended, <br /> the last installment of which bonds shall mature fourteen years from <br /> the 2nd day of January next succeeding the 15th day of the next <br /> November following their date. <br /> Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 4th day of April, 1960, <br /> at the hour of eight o'clock P.M., at the Board of Supervisors' <br /> Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, California, is <br /> hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all persons <br /> interested may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the City <br /> Council should not find and determine that the public convenience and <br /> necessity require the improvements described and referred to in this <br /> resolution, without further compliance with the Special Assessment, <br /> Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931 of the <br /> State of California now embodied in the Streets and Highways Code <br /> of California as Division 4 thereof. <br /> The City Clerk shall give notice of the adoption of this resolu- <br /> tion by publishing a Notice of Proposed Local Improvement once in <br /> the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper published and circulated <br /> in said City, and by posting same on or near the Council Chamber <br /> door of said Council, said posting and publication to be made at <br /> least ten days before the date of said hearing. <br /> * * * <br /> -3- <br />
