There is excepted from said District all streets and all other public property in use in the performance of a public function. Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent the un- paid assessments of $25.00 or over, bearing interest at the rate of six per cent (6 %) per annum will be issued pursuant to the provi- sions of Article I of Ordinance No. 333 entitled "Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance ", adopted March 14, 1932, as amended, the last installment of which bonds shall mature fourteen years from the 2nd day of January next succeeding the 15th day of the next November following their date. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 4th day of April, 1960, at the hour of eight o'clock P.M., at the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the City Council should not find and determine that the public convenience and necessity require the improvements described and referred to in this resolution, without further compliance with the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931 of the State of California now embodied in the Streets and Highways Code of California as Division 4 thereof. The City Clerk shall give notice of the adoption of this resolu- tion by publishing a Notice of Proposed Local Improvement once in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper published and circulated in said City, and by posting same on or near the Council Chamber door of said Council, said posting and publication to be made at least ten days before the date of said hearing. * * * -3-
