2. Subdividers shall, before the release of said final map by <br /> City, and as a condition precedent to the recordation thereof, fur- <br /> nish to City End file with the City Clerk a good and sufficient <br /> surety bond securing the faithful performance by Subdividers of all <br /> work and the construction of all improvements herein in this agreement <br /> mentioned, and within the time herein specified, the amount of said <br /> bond to be Twiraty Thousaad " '" " '" ! — Dollars <br /> ($ 20.000.00 ), and also a good and sufficient surety bond securing <br /> the payment by Subdividers of all bills for labor and materials in- <br /> curred in the construction of any and all said improvements, and the <br /> doing of all other work herein agreed to be done by the said Sub- <br /> dividers, the amount of said bond to be _ rAmmtd <br /> Dollars (4p 20 000.00 ). <br /> 3. Subdividers shall protect, indemnify and hold harmless the <br /> City and all officials and employees thereof from any and all liability <br /> or claims because of or arising out of any accident, occurrence, loss, <br /> damage or happening occurring upon, or arising out of, the construction <br /> of any of the improvements herein by Subdividers, or the use of any <br /> patent or patented articles in the construction of said work or <br /> improvements. <br /> 4. Subdividers shall, before the release of said final map by <br /> City and as a condition precedent to the recordation thereof, obtain <br /> and maintain in full force and effect during the term of this agree- <br /> ment at their own expense and risk, a general comprehensive liability <br /> insurance policy and further agree to furnish evidence of such <br /> insurance by filing a certificate of insurance with the City Clerk. <br /> Such insurance shall name the City of Redwood City, its Council, <br /> boards, commissions, officers, councilmen, agents, and employees, as <br /> insured or additional insureds, and shall indemnify the City and said <br /> persons against liability for loss or damage for personal injury <br /> including death, and property damage occasioned by the operation <br /> of Subdividers or their contractors or subcontractors under the terms <br /> -4 - <br />
