:ek:3/14/60 -8 <br /> A <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 30 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEEDS <br /> IN CONNECTION WITH ABANDONMENT OF EASEMENT ON PORTION <br /> OF LOT 36, BLOCK 509, HIGHLANDS OF EMERALD LAKE, <br /> SUBDIVISION FIVE, AND EASEMENT ON PORTION OF LOT 7, <br /> BLOCK 1, FARM HILL NO. 4, REDWOOD CITY, WHICH <br /> EASEMENTS ARE NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR MUNICIPAL <br /> PURPOSES <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has heretofore been granted <br /> easements for public municipal purposes on, in, under and over <br /> certain real property hereinafter described; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has been advised that said easements <br /> are no longer necessary or needed for public municipal purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are <br /> hereby authorized and directed to convey by quit claim deed <br /> whatever interest the City of Redwood City presently has in or <br /> to said easement to the present owners of the fee interest in <br /> and to the real property through which said easement passes, <br /> said real property being more particularly described as follows, <br /> to wit: <br /> A portion of the lands described in Parcel I of the <br /> Deed to CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, recorded April 29, 1958 <br /> in Volume 3384 of Official Records of San Mateo County, <br /> State of California, at page 538, said portion being <br /> more particularly described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the southerly line of said <br /> lands described in Parcel I with the westerly line of Lot 36, <br /> Block 509 as said Lot and Block are shown on that certain <br /> map entitled "HIGHLANDS OF EMERALD LAKE, SUBDIVISION FIVE ", <br /> recorded January 19, 1927 in Book 15 of Maps, Records of San <br /> Mateo County, State of California, at pages 15, 16 17, and 18, <br /> said point lying along said westerly line North 11 59' 31" <br /> West 49.11 feet from the most southerly corner of said Lot 36; <br /> thence along the southwesterly line of said Parcel I South <br /> 66 00' 20" East 64.81 feet; thence leaving last said line, <br /> North 45 47' 01" West 27.65 feet and North 69 46' 06" West <br /> 43.81 feet to a point in aforesaid westerly line of Lot 36; <br /> thence along last said line South 11 59' 31" East 8.25 feet <br /> to the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />
