:ek:3/14/60 -8 A RESOLUTION NO. 30 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEEDS IN CONNECTION WITH ABANDONMENT OF EASEMENT ON PORTION OF LOT 36, BLOCK 509, HIGHLANDS OF EMERALD LAKE, SUBDIVISION FIVE, AND EASEMENT ON PORTION OF LOT 7, BLOCK 1, FARM HILL NO. 4, REDWOOD CITY, WHICH EASEMENTS ARE NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has heretofore been granted easements for public municipal purposes on, in, under and over certain real property hereinafter described; and, WHEREAS, this Council has been advised that said easements are no longer necessary or needed for public municipal purposes; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to convey by quit claim deed whatever interest the City of Redwood City presently has in or to said easement to the present owners of the fee interest in and to the real property through which said easement passes, said real property being more particularly described as follows, to wit: A portion of the lands described in Parcel I of the Deed to CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, recorded April 29, 1958 in Volume 3384 of Official Records of San Mateo County, State of California, at page 538, said portion being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the southerly line of said lands described in Parcel I with the westerly line of Lot 36, Block 509 as said Lot and Block are shown on that certain map entitled "HIGHLANDS OF EMERALD LAKE, SUBDIVISION FIVE ", recorded January 19, 1927 in Book 15 of Maps, Records of San Mateo County, State of California, at pages 15, 16 17, and 18, said point lying along said westerly line North 11 59' 31" West 49.11 feet from the most southerly corner of said Lot 36; thence along the southwesterly line of said Parcel I South 66 00' 20" East 64.81 feet; thence leaving last said line, North 45 47' 01" West 27.65 feet and North 69 46' 06" West 43.81 feet to a point in aforesaid westerly line of Lot 36; thence along last said line South 11 59' 31" East 8.25 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
