REG:yc:2 /23/60 -7 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 3003 <br /> RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING AN TERRITORY KNOWN <br /> AS 'REDWOOD VILLAGE" FROM MENLO PARK LIGHTING <br /> DISTRICT <br /> WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as <br /> "Redwood Village" was annexed to the City of Redwood City by <br /> Ordinance No. 572, said annexation being effective on the thirtieth <br /> day of April, 1v47; and <br /> WHEREAS, said area is included in the Menlo Park Lighting <br /> District Code Area 9 -4; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 14218 of the Health <br /> and Safety Code of the State of California, the hereinafter <br /> described property known as "Redwood Village" is hereby declared <br /> withdrawn from the Menlo Park Lighting District Code Area 9 -4. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of <br /> this resolution to the State Board of Equalization, the Assessor <br /> of San Mateo County, the Clerk of San Mateo County, and the Menlo <br /> Park Lighting District. <br /> 3. The property withdrawn is described as follows: <br /> That certain territory situated in the County of San Mateo, <br /> State of California, particular described as follows: <br /> BEGIN1ING at the intersection of the Southwesterly line of <br /> the Sweeny Ranch as shown on that certain map entitled <br /> "Map of Subdivisions of Sweeny Ranch near Redwood City, <br /> San Mateo Co.," filed in the office of the County Recorder <br /> of San Mateo County on June 24, 1898, in Book "C' of Mep s <br /> at page 36, with the Southeasterly boundary line of Redwood <br /> City, California, being also the intersection of said <br /> boundary line with the Southwesterly line of Dumbarton <br /> Acres as shown on that certain map entitled "Dumbarton <br /> Acres near Redwwod City, Calif." recorded June 7, 1927, in <br /> Vol. 16 of Maps at pages 8 and 9, Official Records of San <br /> Mateo County, Calif.; and running thence from said point <br /> of beginning North 28° 5O' 30" East 569.28 feet to the <br /> center line of Spring Street as shown on that certain map <br />
