t.► 011 REG:yc:2 /23/60 -7 R E S O L U T I O N N O. 3002 RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY KNOWN AS "ALDEN SUBDIVISION" FROM MENLO PARK LIGHTING DISTRICT WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as "Alden Subdivision" was annexed to the City of Redwood City by Ordinance No. 570, said annexation being effective on the 24th day of March, 1947; and WHEREAS, said area is included in the Menlo Park Lighting District Code Area 9 -4; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 14218 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California, the hereinafter described property known as "Alden Subdivision" is hereby declared withdrawn from the Menlo Park Lighting District Code Area 9 -4. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the State Board of Equalization, the Assessor of San Mateo County, the Clerk of San Mateo County, and the Menlo Park Lighting District. 3. The property withdrawn is described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the Southwesterly line of the Sweeny Ranch as said line is shown on a map en- titled "Map of Subdivisions of Sweeny Ranch near Redwood City, San Mateo Co.," filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California on June 24, 1898, in Book "C" of Maps at page 36, with the Southeasterly boundary line of said City of Redwood City; thence North 2° 42' 30" West 577.86 feet to the center of Spring Street; as shown on a map entitled "Dumbarton Acres Near Redwood City, Calif.," recorded June 7, 1927, in Volume 16 of Maps at pages 8 and 9, Records of San Mateo County; thence South 75 26 East 311.99 feet; thence South 28 50' 30" West 569.37 feet to the point of beginning.
