R E S O L U T I O N S Ilk 2987 - resolution determining that the public interest and necessity demand the acquisition, construction and completion by the City of Redwood City of the following municipal improvements, and each of them, to wit: (A) Five Points interchange; (B) Jefferson Avenue improvements; (C) Alameda de las Pulgas Improvements; (D) Middlefield Road Improve- ments; (E) Bridge and Culvert improvements; (F) Corporation Yard Improvements; (G) City Hall Improvements; (H) Park and Recreation facilities; and (I) Municipal Auditorium; and that the cost of said municipal improvements, and each of them, will require an expenditure greater than the amount allowed therefor by the annual tax levy. 2988 - resolution and order of the City Council of the City of Redwood City submitting to the electors of said City at the General Municipal Election to be held April 12, 1960, an advisory measure concerning imposition of local city sales and use tax. 2989 - resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City proposing certain amendments to the Charter of the City of Redwood City and ordering the submission thereof to the Electors at the General Municipal Election to be held in the City of Redwood City on April 12, 1960. 2990 - resolution approving specifications for a new truck; and authorizing the City Clerk to call for bids therefor. 2991 - resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City terminating annexation proceedings designated "EDGEWOOD ANNEXATION NO. 1 -B," initiated pursuant to Resolution No. 2954. 2992 - resolution requesting County Clerk of the County of San Mateo to render specified election services pursuant to Section 9+83 of the Election Code. 2993 - resolution of intention concerning imposition and allocation of proposed local sales and use tax revenues. 299+ - resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City finding and determining that protest to the proposed annexation to the City of Redwood City of certain uninhabited territory designated as "EDGEWOOD ANNEXATION NO. 1 -B" has not been made by owners of one -half of the value of private property within such territory as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by the owners of one -half of the value of publicly owned property within said territory as determined by said Council. 2995 - resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City finding and determining that protest to the proposed annexation to the City of Redwood City of certain uninhabited territory designated as "BRESSO ANNEXATION" has not been made by owners of one -half of the value of private property within such territory as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by the owners of one -half of the value of piu licly owned property within said territory as dtermined by said Council. 2996 - resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate on its own motion proceedings to annex to said City certain uninhabited territory; describing said territory and designating it by the name " EDGEWOOD ANNEXATION NO. 1 -A "; giving its reasons for desiring said annexation; making certain findings respecting said proceedings; and giving notice of the time and place said Council will hear protests to said annexation. 2997 - resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City finding and determining that protest to the proposed annexation to the City of Redwood City of certain uninhabited territory designated "SEQUOIA TERRACE" has not been made by owners of one -half of the value of such territory as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public and private owners equal to one -half of the value of such territory as determined by said Council.
