REG :ye :1/4/60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2953 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR TWO NEW TRUCKS; <br /> AND,. AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS.THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> specifications for a 3/4 Ton Service Truck, Chassis and Cab <br /> (without body) and a 19,500 G.V.W. Truck, Chassis and Cab (with <br /> dump body) necessary for municipal purposes; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br /> signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to <br /> advertise for bids for the furnishing of said equipment; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Those certain specifications entitled "City of Redwood <br /> City, Minimum Specifications, 3 /4 Ton Service Truck (Chassis and Cab), <br /> and those certain specifications entitled "City of Redwood City, <br /> Specifications, Truck 19,500 G.V.W.," prepared in the office of <br /> the City Manager and on file in the office of the City Manager, <br /> consisting of Notice of Sealed Bids, Bidding Form, Specifications, <br /> and Bid Sheets, are hereby approved, said specifications providing <br /> for the furnishing of the following new equipment: <br /> 3/4 Ton Service Truck, Chassis and Cab (without body) <br /> 19,500 G.V.W. Truck, Chassis and Cab (with dump body) <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> advertise for bids for the furnishing of said equipment, in ac- <br /> cordance with the specifications therefor, said advertisement to <br /> be in the form of that certain "Notice of Sealed Bids" set forth <br /> in the above mentioned specifications. <br /> :r * x- <br />
