• 1 <br /> RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE <br /> 'RESOLUTION N0. 2958 <br /> BROADWAY STREET LIGHTING <br /> WHEREAS the City Engineer of Redwood City has ascertained <br /> the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality <br /> in which said public work is proposed to be performed for work <br /> of a similar character to that described in Resolution of <br /> Intention No. 11,51 , adopted �, u��.�� �: itd by the <br /> Council of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and con- <br /> tained in the specifications for said project, copies of which <br /> are on file in the office of said Engineer and also in the office <br /> of the Clerk of said City; and <br /> WHEREAS the Council of Redwood City has duly considered <br /> said scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City resolves as <br /> follows <br /> 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications <br /> for the above - mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevail- <br /> ing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to <br /> that above described in the locality in which said public work <br /> is proposed to be performed. <br /> 2. That no less than said general prevailing rate of per <br /> diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed <br /> under said Resolution of Intention No. .2,61.<1 <br />
