4 <br /> 4 <br /> necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property <br /> rights of petitioners; and that the granting of said exception will <br /> not be detrimental to the public welfare or adversely affect other <br /> property in the neighborhood; <br /> NOW THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Pursuant to the terms of Section 7.31 of Ordinance No. 631, <br /> the Planning Commission is hereby authorized to approve a tentative <br /> map of the above described property, subdividing said property into <br /> two lots, one of which would have a width of approximately forty - <br /> three (L3) feet instead of the required fifty (50) feet and one <br /> of which would meet the legal requirements of said Section 5.31 <br /> 2. The map which the Planning Commission is hereby authorized <br /> to approve shall be substantially in the form of that map entitled <br /> "Plat of Portion of Lot 3 Block J Wooster, Whitton & Montgomery Sub" <br /> marked'Exhibit A ", a copy of which is attached hereto and incor- <br /> porated herein as if set out herein in its entirety. <br /> * * * <br /> -2- <br />
