NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR LEASE OF <br /> LAND AND IMPROVEMENTS AT CORNER OF <br /> MIDDLEFIELD ROAD AND JEFFERSON AVENUE, <br /> REDWOOD CITY, <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received <br /> in the office of the City tanager, City Hall, Redwood City, <br /> California, until 4 P.M., on Monday, February 1, 1960 <br /> for a lease from the City of Redwood City for the following <br /> described property: <br /> A parcel of land in the City of Redwood City, County of <br /> San Mateo, State of California, being a portion of Block 4 <br /> of that certain map entitled "Map of the Property in Villa <br /> Lots of J V. DILLER ,situated in Redwood City," filed <br /> September 18, 1853 in Vol. E of original Maps at Page 77, <br /> and a copy entered. in Vol. 1 at Page 83, Official Records of <br /> an Mateo County; said parcel being more particularly <br /> describe& as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the Southeastern line of <br /> Jefferson Avenue (formerly Washington Street) 70.00 feet <br /> in width with the Southwestern line of Middlefield Road <br /> (Jebster Street) 70.00 feet in width; thence S 41� 58' 20" <br /> d 96.00 feet along gaid Southeastern line of Jefferson. <br /> Avenue; thence S 48 01' 40" E 67.00 feet; thence N 41 58' 20" <br /> E 101.71 felt to said Southwestern line of Middlefield Road, <br /> thence N 52 54' 1 67.24 feet along said Southwestern line <br /> of M ddlefielc: Road to the point of beginning. <br /> Together with and including the one story building and <br /> other improvements presently situate upon the above <br /> described parcel of land. <br /> The general terms and conditions of such lease are as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. The term of lease shall be for a period of ten (10) years. <br /> 2. The leased premises shall be used solely and exclusively <br /> for non- profit, civic,and community activities and functions designed <br /> to develop, encourage, and maintain the economic growth and develop- <br /> ment of the City of Redwood City.
