--• • REG:ye:2 /8/60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2 980 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREE - <br /> MENT FOR RIGHT OF WAY APPRAISAL AND ACQUISITION FOR THE <br /> IMPROVEMENT OF JONES COURT IN THE VICINITY OF TENTH <br /> AVENUE AND PAGE STREET <br /> WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the improvement <br /> of Jones Court in the vicinity of Tenth Avenue and Page Street, <br /> which improvements would be in the block bounded by Tenth Avenue, <br /> Page Street, Eighth Avenue and Hoover Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with such acquisition it is necessary <br /> that appraisals be secured and the services of a right of way <br /> agent be obtained; and <br /> WHEREAS, D. S. Fabbro is skilled in the conduct of such <br /> appraisals and negotiations and is qualified to conduct the same <br /> for and on behalf of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> D. S. Fabbro, as contractor, providing for the personal services <br /> of contractor for the above mentioned appraisals and negotiations <br /> in connection with the above mentioned improvements of Jones <br /> Court, has been presented to and reviewed by this Council; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> • <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Right of Way <br /> Appraisal and Acquisition" by and between the City of Redwood <br /> City and D. S. Fabbro (form dated 2/8/60), copy of which is <br /> presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which copy <br /> reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the <br /> terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved and the City <br /> Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> :c * <br />
