• <br /> ! • <br /> thereto attached as of the date theeof; and that said City <br /> Engineer shatl forthwith record said diagram and assessment in <br /> his office in a suitable book to be kept for that purpose, <br /> and append thereto his certificate of the date of such recording, <br /> and such recordation shall be and constitute the assessment <br /> roll herein. <br /> 9. That the City Engineer, upon the recording of said <br /> diagram and assessment, shall mail to %eh owner of real property <br /> within the assessment district, at his last known address as <br /> same appears on the tax rolls of the County or on file in the <br /> office of the clerk of said City, or both, if said address is <br /> not the same on both records, a statement containing a designa- <br /> tion by street number or other description of the oroperty <br /> assessed sufficient to enable the owner to identify the same, <br /> the amount of the assessment, the date of the recordation of <br /> said assessment, the time and place of payment thereof, the <br /> effect of failure to pay within such time, ai,a a statement of <br /> the fact that bonds will be issued on unpaid assessments pursuant <br /> to the provisions of Division 7, Part 5, of the Streets and <br /> Highways Code of the State of California, as amended (Improvement <br /> Act of 1911), the last installment of which bonds shall mature <br /> fourteen (14) years from the second day of January next succeed- <br /> ing the next October 15th followings their date. Said bonds shall <br /> be payable to bearer and shall contain a provision for a five per <br /> cent (5 %) prepayment premium. <br /> 10. That said City Engineer shall also give notice by <br /> publishing a copy of a Notice to Pay Assessments for tern (10) <br /> days in the Redwood City Tribune, a newspaper published and <br /> circulated in the City of Redwood City, that said assessment has <br /> been recorded in his office, and that all sums assessed thereon <br /> -4- <br /> J <br />
