REG:yc:11 /16/59 -7 R E S O L U T I O N YO. 2910 RESOLUTION VACATING A PUBLIC SERVICE EAS ;'JN REAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 (commencing at Section 50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5 of the Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City has, by its Resolution ITo. 2888, adopted October 26, 1959, declared its inten- tion to vacate a portion of an easement designated as such on that map entitled "Woodside Terrace No. 2," recorded 25, 1950; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice has been published and the portion of the easement to be vacated has been posted; and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; TT TH , 2 , : BE IT RESOLVED BY TL] COUNCIL O F T iE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOUS : 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds (a) that the hereinafter described portion of a public service easement has not been used for public service easement purposes since the date of its designation as such and that (b) the easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. The portion of h 2. t ' the easement to be vacated is described as follows: A p ortion of that ten -foot (10 public utility easement N Terrace No. 2, as designated in Block 9, , nated on g that map entitled Woodside Terrace No. 2, recorded Nay 25, 1950, in the office of the Recorder of San 1. ateo County in Book 31 of 1 s, pages 32 and 33, being more partic- ularly described as follows: BEGII ING at the northeasterly corner of Lot 52, said Block 9; THENCE South 16° 49 35" 'West along the easterly boundary line of said Lot 52 a distance of 114.18 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINITIITG; TT ENCE continuing South 16° 49 35" West a distance of 10, plus or minus, feet; THENCE North 75 30 :jest a distance of 56.50 feet; THENCE Forth 48 52 West a distance of 11.54 feet; =NCE North 21 23 38" East a distance of 5.01 feet; THENCE South 75 30 East a distance of 66.13 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGIN'NI G-.
