REG:yc:11 /30/59 -7 e R E S O L U T I O N N O. 2 9 26 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PRO - VISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, being the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, the Planning Commission has received and recommended approval of the application of Richard Mesak and Jeanne Mesak, 936 Haven Street, Redwood City, for an exception to the provisions of Section 5.31 of said Ordinance No. 631, to allow the subdivision of the hereinafter described property into two (2) lots, each of which would have an area of 5,000 square feet instead of the required 6,000 square feet; and WHEREAS, the property for which application to subdivide is made is all that certain real property situated in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, described as the Southwesterly one -half of Lot #6 in Block 10 as shown on that certain map entitled "No. 505 Friendly Acres Subdivision #l," filed in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County on February 10, 1936, in Book 20 of Maps at pages 69 -70; and WHEREAS, said applicant has submitted a tentative map of the proposed subdivision in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 631 and said map has been recommended for approval by the Planning Commission and has been reviewed by the Council of the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported to this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist which affect said property; that the exception applied for is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial prop- erty rights of petitioners; and that the granting of said ex- ception will not be detrimental to the public welfare or adversely affect other property in the neighborhood;
