REG:yc:11 /30/59 -7 <br /> e <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 2 9 26 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PRO - <br /> VISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION <br /> ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, being the <br /> Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, the Planning <br /> Commission has received and recommended approval of the application <br /> of Richard Mesak and Jeanne Mesak, 936 Haven Street, Redwood City, <br /> for an exception to the provisions of Section 5.31 of said Ordinance <br /> No. 631, to allow the subdivision of the hereinafter described <br /> property into two (2) lots, each of which would have an area of <br /> 5,000 square feet instead of the required 6,000 square feet; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property for which application to subdivide is <br /> made is all that certain real property situated in the City of <br /> Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, described <br /> as the Southwesterly one -half of Lot #6 in Block 10 as shown on <br /> that certain map entitled "No. 505 Friendly Acres Subdivision #l," <br /> filed in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County on <br /> February 10, 1936, in Book 20 of Maps at pages 69 -70; and <br /> WHEREAS, said applicant has submitted a tentative map of the <br /> proposed subdivision in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance <br /> No. 631 and said map has been recommended for approval by the <br /> Planning Commission and has been reviewed by the Council of the <br /> City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported to <br /> this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist <br /> which affect said property; that the exception applied for is <br /> necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial prop- <br /> erty rights of petitioners; and that the granting of said ex- <br /> ception will not be detrimental to the public welfare or adversely <br /> affect other property in the neighborhood; <br />
