Ei/ <br /> • 111 REG :yc:l2/7/59 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 2928 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PRO- <br /> VISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION <br /> ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> W}- AREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, being <br /> the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, the Planning <br /> Commission has received and recommended approval of the application <br /> of Abraham Calhoon and Gertie R. Calhoon of 952 Haven Avenue, <br /> Redwood City, California, for an exception to the provisions of <br /> Section 5.31 of said Ordinance No. 631 to allow the subdivision of <br /> certain property into the two hereinafter described lots, each of <br /> which would have an area of five thousand (5,000) square feet <br /> instead of the required six thousand (6,000) square feet; and <br /> WHEREAS, the subdivision for which the application has been <br /> made would create two lots described as follows: <br /> Lot 1 <br /> Northwesterly one half of Northeasterly 50 feet of Lot No. 5, <br /> Block No. 10, No. 505 Friendly Acres Subdivision No. 1, which <br /> map was filed in the Office of the Recorder of the County of <br /> San Mateo, State of California, on February 10, 1936, in <br /> Book 20 of Maps at pages 69 -70; <br /> Lot 2 <br /> Southeasterly one half of Northeasterly 50 feet of Lot No. 5, <br /> Block No. 10, No. 505 Friendly Acres Subdivision No. 1, which <br /> Map was filed in the Office of the Recorder of the County of <br /> San Mateo, State of California, on February 10, 1936, in <br /> Book 20 of Maps at pages 69 -70; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported to <br /> this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist <br /> which affect said property; that the exception applied for is <br /> necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial prop- <br /> erty rights of petitioners; and that the granting of said exception <br /> will not be detrimental to the public welfare or adversely affect <br /> other property in the neighborhood; <br />
