• REG:yc:12 /10/59 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2937 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS <br /> OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE <br /> OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, being <br /> the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, the Planning <br /> Commission has received and recommended approval of the application <br /> of Julian N. Basin, 2700 Plymouth Way, San Bruno, California, for <br /> an exception to the provisions of Section 5.31 of said Ordinance <br /> No. 631, to allow the subdivision of the hereinafter described <br /> property into four lots, one of which would have an area of ap- <br /> proximately 4,850 square feet instead of the required 6,000 square <br /> feet, one of which would have an area of approximately 5,150 square <br /> feet instead of the required 6,000 square feet, one of which would <br /> have an area of approximately 5,750 square feet instead of the <br /> required 6,000 square feet, and one of which would meet the legal <br /> requirements of said Section 5.31; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property for which application to subdivide is <br /> made is all that certain real property situated in the City of <br /> Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, described <br /> as "Portions of Lots L. and 5 in Block 6 as shown on that certain <br /> map entitled 'Tract No. 509 Friendly Acres Subdivision No. 2 in <br /> the County of San Mateo, California,'" filed in the office of the <br /> County Recorder of San Mateo County on January 18, 1937 in Book 21 <br /> of Maps at pages 32 to 3L; and <br /> WHEREAS, said applicant has submitted a tentative map of the <br /> proposed subdivision in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance <br /> No. 631 and said map has been recommended for approval by the <br /> Planning Commission and has been reviewed by the Council of the <br /> City of Redwood City; and <br />
