• • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOT1T.OWS : <br /> 1. That the consent of the City of Redwood City is hereby granted <br /> to the County of San Mateo to acquire and construct said improvements <br /> in the vicinity of Willow Street and to levy assessments upon the <br /> property benefited thereby, including property within the City of <br /> Redwood City, providing that such improvements meet the minimum <br /> standards of the City of Redwood City for commercial and light <br /> industrial streets. <br /> 2. That consent be, and the same is hereby, granted to said <br /> County to open all such public streets as are required for the <br /> installation of said improvements, said work to be done under the <br /> direction of the Engineer of Work of said County and to the sat- <br /> isfaction of the County Engineer of said County and the City Engineer <br /> of this City and in conformity with good engineering practices, said <br /> Engineer of Work to require of the contractor that all of the <br /> provisions of the specifications approved by the Board of Supervisors <br /> of the County of San Mateo be complied with to the end that no <br /> greater amount of ditches are opened at any time than is necessary, <br /> that they shall be promptly backfilled, and that said streets shall <br /> be restored with materials of like quality and character as those <br /> existing therein at the time of such work. <br /> 3. That the form of Resolution of Preliminary Determination <br /> and of Intention to be adopted by said Board of Supervisors of <br /> said County be, and the same is hereby, approved. <br /> 4. That the City Clerk shall forward a certified copy of <br /> this Resolution to the County Clerk of the County of San Mateo. <br /> -2- <br />
