• REG : :12/21/ - RESOLUTION NO. 2939 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZIINTG EXECUTION OF AGREEv2NT AND SETTLE- MENT OF CLAIT BET"G T N THE CITY AND MARGUERITE ANDERSON, AS GUARDIAN OF THE PERSON AND ESTATE OF ELSIE M. CROASMAN, AN INCOMPETENT PERSON, IN CONNECTION WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF GLENWOOD AVENUE WHEREAS, Elsie K. Croasman is the owner of record of certain property adjacent to Glenwood Avenue in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, in connection with the improvement of Glenwood Avenue it was necessary to change the grade of Glenwood Avenue which has substantially affected the property ownerts right to ingress and egress and which will require the construction of a new garage; and WHEREAS, Marguerite Anderson, as guardian of the person and estate of Elsie M. Croasman, an incompetent person, has caused to be filed in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of San Mateo, a Complaint for Declaratory Relief to establish her rights in connection with said improvements of Glenwood Avenue; INTO11, vR sREFORE : BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council of the City of Redwood City hereby approves that agreement between the City and Marguerite Anderson, as guardian of the person and estate of Elsie Y. Croasman, an incompetent person, concerning the change of grade of Glenwood Avenue as it affects Lot 21 in Block 7, as designated on the map entitled "Highlands of Emerald Lake Subdivision One," which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of San j 'Lateo, State of California, on January 12, 1926, in Book 13 of Maps at pages 24 to 27 inclusive, which agreement is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, and authorizes the City Manager to execute said agreement and settle the claim of Marguerite Anderson, as guardian of the person and estate of Elsie K. Creasman, an incompetent person, and directs the City Clerk to record the executed contract.
