�, -jE3 <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and <br />entered <br />into this <br />day of <br />, 2003, by and between <br />REDWOOD <br />CITY 2020, <br />through its fiscal <br />agent, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State <br />of California ( "City "), and REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT ( "Consultant ") <br />(collectively, the "Parties "). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, City proposes to contract with Consultant, in support of the City of <br />Redwood City Early Learning and Family Support Program and School Readiness <br />Initiative in the City of Redwood City (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting services of family support services for children ages 0 to 5; and <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform consulting and <br />related services described in Exhibit "A -1" through "A -6 ", hereof (hereinafter referred to <br />as Exhibit "A "), attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in the amounts shown in <br />F:Atty /Agr /Agr. 125 <br />060403 <br />
