AGREEMENT <br />FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and <br />entered <br />into this <br />day of <br />, 2003, by and between <br />REDWOOD <br />CITY 2020, through <br />its fiscal <br />agent, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State <br />of California ( "City "), and REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT ( "Consultant") <br />(collectively, the "Parties"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, City proposes to contract with Consultant, in support of the City of <br />Redwood City Community Schools Project in the City of Redwood City (the "Project "); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting services of recruitment, hiring, development and coordination of community <br />participation in the community school assessment and John W. Gardner Center <br />Academy for community youth development; and <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES.
