8.A <br /> ATTACHIAENR 5 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR IN <br /> APPROVING THE ARCHITECTURAL PERMIT AP2010-09 FOR 448 SAINT <br /> FRANCIS STREET, AND THEREBY DENYING THE APPEAL <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, Heather Campbell-Glauser on behalf of Robert Carroll, filed <br /> an application for an Architectural Permit to deconstruct the existing single-family residence at <br /> 448 Saint Francis Street ("Property") and construct a new single-family residence thereon <br /> ("Project"), in accordance with Article 45 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 21, 2010, the Zoning Administrator issued a Notice of Official <br /> Action for Architectural Permit AP2010-09 ("AP2010-09") approving the Project, subject to minor <br /> modifications and the Conditions of Approval attached thereto; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 24, 2010, an appeal of the Zoning Administrator's decision to <br /> approve the application fo� the Architectural Permit was filed with the City Clerk by Ms. Renate <br /> W. Albrecht and Mr. Marc Warsowe; and <br /> WHEREAS, on November 9, 2010, a public hearing notice was published in The <br /> Redwood City Daily News and mailed to all property owners within 300 feet of the Property; and <br /> WHEREAS, on November 22, 2010, the City Council of the City of Redwood City held a <br /> duly noticed public hearing and received testimony from the appellants, the applicant, and <br /> interested parties. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redwood <br /> City hereby denies the appeal by Ms. Renate W. Albrecht and Mr. Marc Warsowe of the <br /> decision of the Zoning Administrator approving Architectural Permit AP2010-09 for 448 Saint <br /> Francis S�reet and finds and determines as follows: <br /> 1. Exclusion of the Italian Stone Pine in the design of the Project, subject to <br /> the Conditions of Approval to AP2010-09, is consistent with the development <br /> requirements established in the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance. <br /> 2. The design of the curvilinear standing seam metal roof, subject to the <br /> Conditions of Approval to AP2010-09 and minor modifications as provided in the Notice <br /> ATTY/RESO/RESO.XXXX <br /> 112210 <br /> 1 <br /> � <br />
