The City's Urban Forestry Specialist has jusf completed a review of the <br /> subject report and has found it to be incomplete. The report does not include the valuation of <br /> all trees on site as previously requested in the Plan Review Committee Summary (PRC) <br /> Letter dated April 16, 2010. In an effort to assist with the submittal of a complete arborist <br /> report, I have enclosed for your information the following guidelines which consist of industry <br /> standards (your report may already contain some of the required information) as follows: <br /> • Date report was written <br /> • Assignment — define clearly what the purpose of the report is; what did the client ask <br /> you to do? <br /> • Background — include any pertinent: background or history to the situation; tree; the <br /> assignment; ordinances, laws or criteria affecting the decision; etc. <br /> • Details of the inspection — date; location of tree (number if invenforied); map o� sketch <br /> if appropriate; specifics about the tree you visited — Genus, species, diameter measure <br /> at height measured, location, condition, and any observations on structure, foliage, <br /> roots, soil, grade, insecfs, disease, etc.; observations about the property and site; use <br /> of area and reported purpose of tree; statements and history from the client; <br /> • Discussion points — Based on the assignment, what infoRnation you considered whife <br /> forming your conclusions or recommendations. Include points that support the <br /> determination you make for a conclusion or recommendation.
