i <br /> 6.1 D <br /> Page 8 <br /> ARTICLE III <br /> OFFICERS <br /> Section 3.1 Officers <br /> The officers of the Committee shall be Chair and a Vice Chair and shall be elected from <br /> the membership of the Committee. <br /> Section 3.2 Election and Term <br /> The Officers of the Committee shall be elected annually at the first regular meeting in <br /> July. No officer shall serve more than two successive one-year terms in any position. <br /> Section 3.3 Resignation <br /> Any officer may resign at any time by giving written notice to the Committee. Any such <br /> resignation shall take effect at the date of receipt of such, or by any later time specified <br /> therein. The acceptance of such resignation shall not be necessary to make it effective. <br /> Section 3.4 Committee Chair <br /> The Committee Chair shall, if present, preside at all meetings of the Committee and <br /> exercise and perForm such other powers and perform such of the duties as from to time <br /> may be prescribed for them by the Committee <br /> Section 3.5 Vice Chair <br /> In the absence or disability of the Committee Chair, the Vice-Chair shall perform the <br /> duties of the Committee Chair, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of, and be <br /> subject to all restrictions upon the Chairperson. The Vice-Chair shall have such other <br /> powers and perform such of the duties as from to time may be prescribed for them by <br /> the Committee. <br /> 5 <br />
