• R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2942 RESOLUTION REQUESTING REMOVAL OF REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FROM COUNTY ASSESSMENT ROLLS AND CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING TAXES THEREON WHEREAS, by deed executed by ___,BERT PICARD dated August 21, 1950 , and recorded August 22, 195 in Volume 1923 at page ►017 of the Official Records of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, the fee title to the hereinafter described property has been acquired by the City of Redwood City for public use, to wit: Pump House site, Friendly Acres Storm Drainage System _ and, WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council that this property be removed from the assessment rolls of the County of San Mateo and that all outstanding taxes presently levied against said real property be cancelled: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV2D BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. In accordance with the _ provisions of Division 1, Part 9, Chapter L►., of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo is hereby respect- fully requested to remove the hereinafter described real property from the tax assessment rolls of said County, and to cancel all outstanding taxes presently levied against said real property. 2. The real property hereinabove referred to is all that real property situated in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described by the San Mateo County Assessor as follows: "0.0115 Ac. M.G.L. Com. 48 ° L6 ' E,355.95' & S81 ° 12'E, 20' Frm NELY Cor. of Lot 15 Block 1 of Belle Haven Sub, Por. of Parcels 1 & 2". Per Assessor's map of Ptn of Lots L- 11 -12 -13 Sweeney Ranch. 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo and the Tax Collector of the County of San Mateo.
